    Physiology: Their skin and overall appearance depends on the element they are attuned to and, as such, heavily depends on the type.<br /> About: The native race of Heledarkik, the continent north of Faizeon, and a place that has caused trouble for others in the past with their invasions during the time of the Godspoken Empire.

    About:

    They are the result of one individual ancestor race that they all shared being mutated by Heledarkik's immense magical atmosphere. Since each of the seven great regions is different, they also mutated into 7 different races. Nobody knows what this origin race is but it cannot be any that currently exists since no human, elf etc. ever set foot on Heledarkik before this happened. It is also unlikely that it was a Faizeon race since Heledarkik was already populated when the Faizeon people came into being. It is one of the mysteries the world still holds.
    The Elsion are highly attuned to the elements, each sub-race to a different one. The exception is the seventh one that is more attuned to pure mana, the Star-Elsions. Nonetheless, they are all directly related to each other. When reproducing with other races, the result would be a half-Elsion but if Elsions reproduce with each other, it is either the full sub-race of the mother or the father, not a weird hybrid of two different Elsion types - that is not possible.
    So basically Water-Elsion x human would be a half Water-Elsion but a Water-Elsion and a Fire-Elsion would either be one OR the other.

    Sub-races:

    Fire-Elsion
    Physiology: Fire-Elsions are attuned with fire and, thus, most of them have burning hair or even outright flames for hair though for some it is not as pronounced. However, there is still something about them that is always burning, making it super easy to recognize them. They also tend to have either red or ashen/grey skin and not normal ones. Many also have bright yellow, red or orange eyes though others can sometimes happen.
    Main Ability: Cannot learn other elemental disciplines but Fire. However, this comes with some special abilities. They always have the elemental attunement of the element at +, so fire attunement+, and are actually not damaged by their own element anymore. Instead, they absorb a portion of the attack to heal themselves, so attacking a Fire-Elsion with fire would heal them. The element they are strong against, so ice, would only deal 25% against them but the one they are weak against, so water, deals 200% damage to them, making them far weaker to it.
    On top of that, duration effects that have to do with their element last an additional turn, including territorial effects. While a territorial effect of their element is active, they are coated in magic of their element, like a fire coat, or there is a lot of that element around, like a big fire, the potency of their fire magic is increased, not to the next rank but higher than other magic of the same rank.
    They are also immune to heat.
    Secondary Ability: Can light things on fire without needing to use magic though not as strong as Strong magic.

    Water-Elsion
    Physiology: Water-Elsions often have green, teal, blue, and turquoise skin, rarely any other colors. Their hair is also often blue or green but there can be exceptions though they never have red hair. Their hair can also be watery or bubbly sometimes but this differs from person to person. They are overall very attuned to water and it shows in their physiology.
    Main Ability: Cannot learn other elemental disciplines but Water. However, this comes with some special abilities. They always have the elemental attunement of the element at +, so water attunement+, and are actually not damaged by their own element anymore. Instead, they absorb a portion of the attack to heal themselves, so attacking a Water-Elsion with water would heal them. The element they are strong against, so fire, would only deal 25% against them but the one they are weak against, so lightning, deals 200% damage to them, making them far weaker to it.
    On top of that, duration effects that have to do with their element last an additional turn, including territorial effects. While a territorial effect of their element is active, they are coated in magic of their element, like a water coat, or there is a lot of that element around, like a large body of water, the potency of their water magic is increased, not to the next rank but higher than other magic of the same rank.
    They also do not drown from water.
    Secondary: Water-Elsions can walk across water - they could even travel over the ocean that way though it is slower than using a fast ship.

    Ice-Elsion
    Physiology: A lot of Ice-Elsions have light blue or pale skin while their hair often looks like it is made out of ice or has an ice-like texture. This makes them easy to distinguish from ice elves which they have zero relation with. Their eyes have a pale color most of the time and they have the least differences between individuals than most other Elsions though there are still exceptions like some with darker blue skin or even white skin or white hair.
    Main Ability: Cannot learn other elemental disciplines but Ice. However, this comes with some special abilities. They always have the elemental attunement of the element at +, so ice attunement+, and are actually not damaged by their own element anymore. Instead, they absorb a portion of the attack to heal themselves, so attacking an Ice-Elsion with ice would heal them. The element they are strong against, so wind, would only deal 25% against them but the one they are weak against, so fire, deals 200% damage to them, making them far weaker to it.
    On top of that, duration effects that have to do with their element last an additional turn, including territorial effects. While a territorial effect of their element is active, they are coated in magic of their element, like an ice coat, or there is a lot of that element around, like snow or ice in the area, the potency of their ice magic is increased, not to the next rank but higher than other magic of the same rank.
    They are also immune to the cold.
    Secondary: Can always chill things down without needing magic though not as strong as Strong magic.

    Wind-Elsion
    Physiology: Wind-Elsion often have light blue, green, white, and sometimes dark blue skin though there are very rare cases of purple skinned ones. They also tend to have white or silver hair but most other colors can still happen except brown and black. Their hair is often either windy or straight up looks like its texture is made out of wind - though it is not actual wind. Many of them also have natural patterns on their faces, as seen in the example and preview images. Their eye color can be almost anything.
    Main Ability: Cannot learn other elemental disciplines but Wind. However, this comes with some special abilities. They always have the elemental attunement of the element at +, so wind attunement+, and are actually not damaged by their own element anymore. Instead, they absorb a portion of the attack to heal themselves, so attacking a Wind-Elsion with wind would heal them. The element they are strong against, so earth, would only deal 25% against them but the one they are weak against, so ice, deals 200% damage to them, making them far weaker to it.
    On top of that, duration effects that have to do with their element last an additional turn, including territorial effects. While a territorial effect of their element is active, they are coated in magic of their element, like a wind coat, or there is a lot of that element around, like a storm, the potency of their wind magic is increased, not to the next rank but higher than other magic of the same rank.
    They are not pushed away by wind, even wind magic, and can freely move even during the strongest currents.
    Secondary: Natural flying though theirs is done via floating and not wings

    Earth-Elsion
    Physiology: They are actually some of the most colorful Elsions, believe it or not, since rocks come in a lot of colors as well, so they could be brown, red, blue, white or even green skinned among other colors. The same also goes for their hair. What makes them stand out is their really rough skin that does not feel very soft and their hair also looks like it is made out of rocks - very easy to distinguish from other Elsions.
    Main Ability: Cannot learn other elemental disciplines but Earth. However, this comes with some special abilities. They always have the elemental attunement of the element at +, so earth attunement+, and are actually not damaged by their own element anymore. Instead, they absorb a portion of the attack to heal themselves, so attacking an Earth-Elsion with earth would heal them. The element they are strong against, so lightning, would only deal 25% against them but the one they are weak against, so wind, deals 200% damage to them, making them far weaker to it.
    On top of that, duration effects that have to do with their element last an additional turn, including territorial effects. While a territorial effect of their element is active, they are coated in magic of their element, like an earth coat, or there is a lot of that element around, like being on a rocky mountain, the potency of their earth magic is increased, not to the next rank but higher than other magic of the same rank.
    They are more resistant to being slowed down and could still breathe even after being buried under rocks (but not underwater, with gas etc.).
    Secondary: Their stoneskin gives them some natural pyhsical armor though it is also prone to armor breaker effects and does not help against magic.

    Lightning-Elsion
    Physiology: Lightning-Elsions often have purple skin but can also have yellow, pale dark blue, white, and a few other rare colors like pale red, pale green or even grey. Their eye colors are more varied and their skin often has white lightning marks on it (or yellow if their skin is white). Their hair can either be normal or 'zappy', meaning as if someone was hit by lightning and it stands upward all the time. Spikey hair is also common but not the norm.
    Main Ability: Cannot learn other elemental disciplines but Lightning. However, this comes with some special abilities. They always have the elemental attunement of the element at +, so lightning attunement+, and are actually not damaged by their own element anymore. Instead, they absorb a portion of the attack to heal themselves, so attacking a Lightning-Elsion with lightning would heal them. The element they are strong against, so water, would only deal 25% against them but the one they are weak against, so earth, deals 200% damage to them, making them far weaker to it.
    On top of that, duration effects that have to do with their element last an additional turn, including territorial effects. While a territorial effect of their element is active, they are coated in magic of their element, like a lightning coat, or there is a lot of that element around, like a thunderstorm, the potency of their lightning magic is increased, not to the next rank but higher than other magic of the same rank.
    They are also immune to shock and paralysis.
    Secondary: You can actively become a lightning rod which will redirect lightning attacks and even natural lightning your way, allowing you to keep others safe from harm by redirecting lightning attacks to yourself. When hit by enough lightning by using this, it also charges your lightning magic.

    Star-Elsion
    Physiology: Star-Elsions are the strangest of the Elsions since they are not attuned to any element but pure mana itself. For them, pure mana is associated with the stars and their skin tends to have a lot of star-like dots on it. It can even come in the form of freckles for some of them. They generally have a very star-like appearance which comes in many different forms, not just like how the example image looks. They also come in most colors tend to have a gentle appearance, even if their personality does not match it since they can still have any and are very individual.
    Main Ability: They cannot have any attunement, neither elemental nor chaos, light, shadow or life and death. No attunement at all. Their aether color is also prismatic with how they have no particular color. What makes them special is that, while they cannot learn any elemental disciplines - they are completely locked for them - their pure mana discipine is enhanced. Not by raw power or anything but one special ability they have: by charging for a while, usually a turn but it is hard to interrupt even with damage, they can shift their elemental attunement manually and basically enter a new mode. Each of the 6 elements has their own mode during which their appearance changes slightly and they get the attunement+ of that element (including the downsides), so if they attune to water, they get water attunement+. On top of that, and this is the real speciality of their ability, is that their pure mana moves take on the element as well, so if you have a pure mana projectile move, it takes on the element of your current mode. However, they do not copy the special abiltiies of the other Elsions that they have with their respective element. (For some advanced classes that need one elemental magic, like magic samurai, they can replace it with pure mana,)
    Secondary: Some natural magic armor though it does not help against physical damage at all.
